A trader who has developed a multimillion-pound business has been named the first eBay seller of the year. Jamie Murray, 28, from St Athan, Vale of Glamorgan, beat 20m other "eBayers" to the auction site's title. His trading of memory cards and electronic accessories gained the highest number of the site's satisfied customers over the past year. Since 2004, he has had 125,050 feedback ratings from buyers. Mr Murray has several thousand items for sale at one time. He said: "It's fantastic - a bit of a shock really." His company's turnover up to 2006 reached £2.6m, and he said the majority of that was probably through eBay.
